Momu Meets…Eli!

wpid-DSC1072.jpg

Hi Momu readers!  How is everything where you are?  I thought I would introduce a new lad to you today.  Yippee – Yes?

Momu: What’s your name?

Eli: Hello everyone, my name is Eli.  I’m a little bit shy despite how I might come across in the photo…

M: Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

E: I came to live with the girl first at the same time as Froome, but since then I have gone to live with the boy for a bit – I like to move around so I can see all the lads as much as possible.  I like to be around lads, even though I am on the quiet side.

M: How old are you?

E: I am only young – I came to live here only a couple of months ago, so I am just finding my place here.

M: What’s your favourite way to spend an evening?

E: I like to find out more about the other lads that I am with at the time because I am quite new to the group.  I also like it when the girl strokes my ears because it tickles me and she thinks they are super soft.

M: Do you have a best lad friend?

E: I like to sit with Froome because we came together, but I like to make new friends so I am hoping to spend time with everyone.  Elephants never forget apparently, so I am happy that I will always know things about my new friends.

So there you go, here’s to many more months and years of getting to know Eli!

More soon,

Love Momu. x

More rain

wpid-IMG_20130807_215039.jpg

Hello everyone.

Freddy is getting crosser by the day here – he says he has forgotten what the sun even looks like because we have not seen it for weeks.

Momu

The other day it rained so much and was so windy, we thought we might be taken away like Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz.  It was a close thing, but we managed to stay put.

The humans left the window open the other night, and lots of rain got in by mistake and make Bruce and Eric who sit on the windowsill very very soggy indeed – they were not impressed, but they seem to have dried out a bit now.  We have told the humans not to be so silly, and the window stayed shut last night.

We are hoping that the sun will come out later on today, or at the very least that the weather will do something fun like snow instead of just being grey all the time.

Fingers and paws crossed everyone!

Jumbah’s Winning Streak

Momu and Jumbah

Hello everyone!

I am here with Jumbah this morning because he is really pleased with himself and I thought it would be nice for him to have another post so we could celebrate with him.

Let me explain.  Every week on a Monday, there is a television quiz called University Challenge.  Jumbah likes to watch this with the girl every week, and they have been having a little competition to see who is the cleverest.

Some weeks it is a little bit of a close contest, but Jumbah is pleased to inform us that the scores so far this series are as follows;

Yippee!

Jumbah says this is because, like him, his knowledge is out of this world.

Bravery or Otherwise…

Momu

Afternoon Momu chums!

Ratty and Stuart (AKA The Rodents) asked me to write a tiny post about their supposed bravery the other night while they were watching Aliens.  (Apparently there can be massive arguments among Humans as to whether Alien or Aliens is best, but us lads tend to stay out of it – it all seems a little bit silly.  There is no such question surrounding Aliens 3 and 4 – apparently they are just rubbish.)

Lads watching Aliens

You will see that Ratty and Stuart are really close to the edge of the bed.  They think this shows bravery, I think it is silly – you can never be too careful if there is the threat of a boar attack, even with a hanky for protection.

Silly Rodents!  Luckily everything was ok and they just enjoyed the film like they were hoping too.  Let’s hope they don’t get too cocky.
