Birthday Time!

wpid-DSC1072.jpg

Hello Momu Fans!

We have had an exciting weekend – it was Whitey’s birthday!  We know exactly when his birthday is because he is the same age as the girl (old now).

Whitey went out for a trip to wait while the humans ate some food at a restaurant

Birthday Tea

He took Watson with him because he is the newest lad and Whitey is the oldest. (The big drink is nothing to do with the lads – it is a lot to do with the boy.)

When they got home again there was cake!

Whitey

This cake seems to have been made with the wrong name on – but Whitey knows it was for him really. (The big drink is nothing to do with the lads – it is a lot to do with the boy.)

Birthdays are fun!

More soon,

Dr Watson, I presume

Momu Small

Hello Momu Fans!

We have exciting news for you – a new lad has arrived.

Watson 1

This is Watson (Dr Watson to give him his full name).  Travis named him as he has already decided that Watson is going to be his sidekick when he is off solving mysteries.  Travis has also decided that Watson needs a hat to be able to do this properly (I feel a bit sorry for the girl, having to try and make all these fiddly things for us lads, but she kind of brings it on herself really, so I am not that sorry!), Watson is not too sure about this, as he says his ears are quite big (and useful for hearing clues).  We will see what the girl might be able to come up with later on.

Watson is quite excited about his new lad job – he says he is very inquisitive naturally anyway, so he will enjoy poking around and solving things.

Watson 2

He says he is just the dog for the job!

More soon,

Jumbah and the Girl

wpid-DSC1072.jpg

Hello Momu Fans!

Jumbah and the girl have asked me to write a little bit about their adventures with University Challenge on Monday.  Jumbah has been feeling that he might be being a little bit smug because he is cleverer than your average lad (and certainly more so than a human).  He says that he doesn’t mean to be rude or anything.

Jumbah and the girl settled down on Monday to watch University Challenge as normal (it is getting tricky now as the final is getting nearer – the questions are HARD), and they really enjoyed themselves.  They both got into double figures with the right answers – in fact they got exactly the same score.  Normally Jumbah would have been cross about this, but he has decided that as the girl looks after him so well (makes him hats and things and gives him a warm place to stay) he will just be pleased that they can have fun together like this.  They have been very happy for the past few days.

Jumbah

This is Jumbah and his happy face – he says you might not be able to see it is his happy face because it is tricky to see his face with his hat on.  He promises that he is smiling and happy here.

PS, we are very much hoping to get out on an adventure soon – we are waiting for all this rain to stop – it will stop won’t it?!

‘Lympics, ‘Lympics, ‘Lympics!

Momu

Hello everyone!

We are ever so excited because the Winter ‘Lympics have started this morning!  We got up super early (even the girl) and spent the morning watching boys on snowboards jumping off things in the Slope Style event.  It was bonkers – Mike says he wants to have a go, but we think he might be a little bit small.

The lads that were around at the time really enjoyed watching the Summer ‘Lympics a couple of years ago, and the Winter ones look just as fun.  The girl has reminded us that if we are sad when this ends, we also have something called The Commonwealth Games in the summer – yippee!

Just a quick post today, me and the lads don’t want to miss anything!

More soon,

Couldn’t quite do it…

Jumbah

Hello Earth People, it is Jumbah here.

I just wanted to say that I couldn’t quite let the girl win at University Challenge last week (I pretended to draw with her that week) and I definitely couldn’t do it this week as she was bad bad bad.  She thinks that she didn’t understand hardly any of the questions so I couldn’t bring myself down to her level, despite the new hat she gave me.  I know this makes me sound mean, but I like to know that I still know things and I am not going all daft like humans.  I think that everyone still likes me even though I am a bit cleverer than them all.

The boy says I look a bit thuggish in this hat because it goes down over my eyes sometimes and then my eyes look all squinty.  I am just pleased that it is keeping me snug and warm while I am cozied up in bed with the other lads (the boy needs to remember I have even less hair than him on my head, so he should be more sympathetic really).

We have been looking out of the window today, and we are expecting some more of this;

RAIN!

So we are off to prepare for a mammoth session of snoozing and snuggling.

See you soon,

Love Jumbah. x
