It is very nearly Christmas!

momu and santa

Hello Momu Fans!

It’s very very nearly Christmas time!  Us lads are getting ever so ever so excited now – only a few more days to go!  We are looking forward to giving our presents to the humans and perhaps getting a present in return (you never can tell with humans).

We do hope that you are having a lovely Christmassy time leading up to the big day, and have some nice things lined up to give to the people that you love the most in the world.  We have been in touch with Santa, and he says he is ever so busy getting all the presents ready for everyone and we hope that he will bring you a little something that you will like too.

More soon.

Flynte is having a lot of fun

Momu Small

Hello everyone!

Do you remember that I told you about a tiny elephant who came to stay with us not so long ago?  Well it turns out that he is quite mischievous and is active a lot of the time doing this and that and generally having fun.

As we are at the girl’s mum’s house, there is a lot more for his to explore than he has been used to lately.  His favourite thing to do is pretend that he is going on an adventure in a Camper Van.  Silly old Flynte!  It does look like fun though – I think some of the bigger lads are a bit miffed that they can’t try it out too.

The Lads’ Word of the Day

momu and santa

Hello Momu fans!

I thought I would tell you a little bit about the latest lad craze that is going around.  While the lads have been separated – some of us are at the boy’s house and some of us are at the girl’s house – we thought that a nice way to keep in touch would be to have a word of the day.

The lads at the boy’s house think of the word each day and then they tell it to us at the girl’s house.  Then we can use the word all day and have ever such a lot of fun.

Here are some of the words that we have had just recently (some of them are a little bit rude, I don’t quite know what came over the lads at the boy’s house. Tsk!)

You should try a word of the day, it makes things great fun!

Hot Fire

wpid-DSC1072.jpg

Hello Momu Readers!

Me again!  Who’d have thought?

I am having a lovely time at the moment with the girl helping her to house-sit.  One of the main reasons I am enjoying it (apart from being with the girl of course) is that I am able to spend some time in front of a proper fire.  This means that I am allowed to get all toasty and warm.  This does not mean that I am allowed to get too close to the fire, just in case it is too burny for a little lad like me.

I thought I had better show you a picture of the fire, just in case you didn’t believe how good it was.

Nice huh?

Us lads love to be toasty and warm!

Advent Calendars

momu and santa

Hello again Momu Fans!

I thought I would use this photo of me next to Santa today as Christmas is getting ever so close now.  We are ever so excited here!  We hope you are looking forward to it too.

The humans have some things to help them count down to Christmas, Advent Calendars.  These are a new thing for us lads, and only having furry paws makes things like this a little bit harder for us to manage, so we do need some human help from time to time.  These calendars have little doors that the humans open everyday leading up to Christmas, and behind them is a picture (which the girl likes the best) and also a chocolate (which the boy likes more).  We like to see the pictures too, but only because we cannot eat chocolate – if we could, I am sure we would like that part just as much.

momu and the calendars

This year there are three advent calendars, usually there would only be one but the girl got given two and then the boy turned up for a visit with one too – so that makes three.  The humans would like to point out that they would not usually have that many, it was an unfortunate (yummy) mistake that everyone decided to buy one.

We are looking forward to seeing what pictures are behind every door for the next few days until Christmas finally arrives (it still feels like a long time to go), and the boy is looking forward to catching up on all his chocolate because he forgot to take his one home with him the other day – silly thing.

Have you got an advent calendar too?  Aren’t they fun?

Christmas is coming!

wpid-DSC1072.jpg

Hello there Momu Readers!

We are ever so excited at the moment, because Christmas is coming!  We have been waiting for ages for it to happen again – it seems like it has been almost a whole year since it last happened… You can remind yourself of our last Christmas by looking at this page here.  (Yippee!)

This year the boy and the girl are going to be together again – this means, more importantly that most of us lads will all be together for a week or so too!  This is very good news indeed.

We are hoping to get a little present from the humans this year, but we are not allowed to ask what it is going to be.  This is a little bit annoying, because Christmas seems very far away when you are waiting for it to come.  We have been told it is a good present, and that we will just have to wait for a little bit longer to get it.  Apparently it is only abut 20 days to go until then.

We have got the boy something good this year – but he isn’t allowed to ask anything about his present either if we can’t ask about ours.  But we are ever so excited about giving him his present at Christmas too.  We think that maybe we like giving things more that we like getting things, but it is a very close call for lads.

In the meantime, we will be snuggling, mooching and getting ready for the big day in true lad style.  We will tell you more as we get round to doing the lad style things.  We hope that you are excited about Christmas, and also keeping warm and cosy (it has been very cold outside recently, but luckily we have a fire here at the girl’s mum’s house where we are staying for a little while – the boy made a huge fire yesterday and we all nearly melted – but at least we weren’t cold…)
