Oops – naughty us. We’ve been ever so busy lately.

Hello Momu Fans,

I am ever so sorry that I haven’t written for ages and ages – it is the humans fault, naturally.

They have been ever so busy moving their photography gallery in Wells which meant that they didn’t have so much time to help me write posts on here.

We have had a lovely sunny summer, and the sunshine is still around even now. We were expecting to have to be burrowing and mooching a lot more in blankets and duvets by now, but it is very warm still. Yippee for the sunshine. Here are the lads enjoying a mooch in the sunshine while the girl has a tiny rest and reads her book.

We will try and write a lot more now that the humans are settling into their new gallery – we are looking forward to some autumnal and wintery mooching times when the weather changes. There is Halloween coming up and then Christmas – we like these very much for mooching and relaxing times with our VIHs (Very Important Humans).

More soon,

Love Momu. x

Surprise Day Out!

wpid-2015_0422_14070200-01.jpeg

Hello Momu Fans!

We had a very exciting day the other week with the humans, the boy had planned a surprise day out for the girl and some of us went with them.

The girl had no idea where they were going to – the boy told some of us, but we were ever so good and pretended not to know too and were surprised when we ended up at BANHAM ZOO! Yippeee!

There were lots of amazing animals to look at and learn about – and there was a lot of sunshine to enjoy too.

Here are some of the lads looking at a very cool and cheeky Marmot munching away on the grasses in his enclosure. We very much liked him.

And here is Peter trying to pretend to be a sloth. He is a little bit sloth like (all lads are – it is the best way to be really isn’t it? They sleep for about 15 to 20 hours a day if they live in a zoo, yippeeeee!) but he was a little bit too small for the head hole here!

It was a very very lovely day out, and we really enjoyed seeing all the animals. We would like to visit again very soon.

And a new lad came home with us – meet The Professor ( also known as The Prof, Hooty, Prof McHoot and Professor Hooty McHootHoot).

More soon,

Love Momu x

Is summer finally arriving?

Hello Momu Fans!

We’re back again. It has been very cloudy and grey here for ages and ages, so we have been snuggling down in bed and not really doing much. It’s not good to still feel like this in June, it should have been sunny for ages by now.

Luckily there has been a bit of sun to enjoy for the last couple of days.

And, as you know, as soon as there is the hint of some sunshine Freddy and Bear get out in it.

Hooray!

Hopefully the weather will stay nice for a while, there are lots of baby birds in the garden that would enjoy the sun more than the cloudy weather.

Paws crossed,

More soon,

Phew, what a busy summer!

wpid-2015_0422_14070200-01.jpeg

Hello Momu Fans!

Apologies for the slight delay in writing to you – but we have been ever so busy with the humans in their shop over the summer that we just didn’t have time.  Rude, I know.

We have been in the gallery almost ever day for 8 weeks – quite a long time really – and we have had yesterday and today off to snooze and mooch a bit and get ready for 5 more days starting tomorrow.

The humans say that we are very good at helping with stuff, and are ever so pleased when we are there to keep them company.  This makes us feel good, so we don’t mind going in with them to help.

Have you had a good summer (or winter if you are all the way on the other side of the world)? We have enjoyed it, but there hasn’t been quite as much sunshine as we had hoped – maybe there will be some in September and October instead.  Paws crossed.

Anyway, we are going to have a bit more mooching and snoozing time now.

More soon,

Love Momu. x
