Imminent Arrival

Momu Small

Hello Momu Fans!

I hope you are all keeping nice and dry and warm where you are.  We are.

We are also getting quite excited because any time soon some more lads will be coming for a visit.  We like it when we get visitors, even if it means that the place gets a bit noisy and crazy for a while (you try keeping hold of your nice comfy spot in the bed when visitor lads come bowling in – it is very hard)!

We are never quite sure who is going to arrive, but we do know that Travis will be coming for his hat fitting, so paws crossed it fits otherwise the girl will have to have another go at making a deerstalker for him.  (Jumbah says if this happens, he is more than willing to keep the first one – he says it keeps his little alien head quite warm and toasty, something that he never really felt in space.)

More soon,

Love Momu. x

OOOH!

Hi Momu Fans!

How are you all today?  I hope you are happy with whatever you are getting up to these days.

Jumbah

Jumbah is slightly concerned that he might be losing his touch when it comes to University Challenge – the girl got 22 points last night, the exact same as he did.  The girl says it was because she got some lucky questions about books and art and things that she knew (she also says she understood most of the questions last night which is very rare).  We think that Jumbah will probably be back on track next week – we have peeked at University Challenge and have come to the conclusion that most of the people on there are aliens of some sort or another to be able to know all that stuff.

Jumbah is excited

Momu 1

Hello everyone!  We are still hiding a little bit from the weather outside which is still a bit grey and rainy.  It is getting windy soon, we might ask the girl to shut the window in case Eric and Bruce get wet on the windowsill again.

Jumbah is getting quite excited again because it is Monday and that means he can watch University Challenge later on in the evening.

Jumbah

He reckons with his (obvious) win last week he will make his total of wins up to 12 tonight.  Especially as Alan says he will join in too – it will give Jumbah some moral support.  Jumbah does not think that Alan will win as he still doesn’t seem to know much English.  He is very enthusiastic though, which is something.

Alan and Jumbah

Fingers crossed for them both.  They are already waiting patiently – I did tell them they have quite a wait, but they won’t listen…

Bravery or Otherwise…

Momu

Afternoon Momu chums!

Ratty and Stuart (AKA The Rodents) asked me to write a tiny post about their supposed bravery the other night while they were watching Aliens.  (Apparently there can be massive arguments among Humans as to whether Alien or Aliens is best, but us lads tend to stay out of it – it all seems a little bit silly.  There is no such question surrounding Aliens 3 and 4 – apparently they are just rubbish.)

Lads watching Aliens

You will see that Ratty and Stuart are really close to the edge of the bed.  They think this shows bravery, I think it is silly – you can never be too careful if there is the threat of a boar attack, even with a hanky for protection.

Silly Rodents!  Luckily everything was ok and they just enjoyed the film like they were hoping too.  Let’s hope they don’t get too cocky.

Alan!!

Momu

Hello everyone!

We had a bit of a surprise over the weekend when someone new arrived ever so suddenly at the girl’s house.  We have managed to find out his name is Alan, but other than that we are a little bit stumped as he doesn’t seem to speak much English.

We have figured out that when he says “blurble” it means “night” and when he says “blooble” it means “morning”.

By happy accident, we think that when he says “yippee” it means the same thing as when we say it.  This is good – plus it is a very fun word to say anyway.
