The Igzs have a new member

wpid-DSC1072.jpg

Hello Momu Readers!

How are you?  Do you have sunshine where you are at the moment?  We have had some, and it has been lovely and toasty warm.

The Igz lads have managed to recruit a new member – they already have Higz, Pigz, Twigz, Figz (and Merry as an honourary member) but they decided that they really needed another lad to help with the drone watch – drone watch gets very busy in the summer while it is warmer.

So they managed to recruit Bigz;

Bigz

Here he is, looking all cute and soft.  He has been learning the ropes and also chatting and mooching with the other lads, as all lads should.  He says he has settled in very well thank you very much.

Drone Defence Practice

Momu 1

Hello Momu Fans!

It is getting to that time of the year when we are worried about drones again.  The drones like it when it is warm and sunny and then they come in the window to be pesky pests – and we have to try and get rid of them.

We need to practice this while the weather is a little bit grey – so the drones are not there already – so we can be fully prepared for the pest season.

Operation Fatty Sausage

Hello Momu Fans,

I have a report for you today on a covert operation the lads carried out a few weeks ago at the boy’s house involving simulated attacks by drones and boars.

Here is a rare photo of talks before the operation began.

OPERATION FATTY SAUSAGE :

15 simulates attacks on two lad rooms

14 repelled

1 loss due to overwhelming attacks from 10+ boars and 100+ drones

Final lad decision based on operation – NEED MORE LADS

The humans are on it.

Pippo Living Dangerously

wpid-DSC1072.jpg

Hello Momu Fans,

As you probably know the lads need to be brave in order to keep the humans safe from boars and drones on a daily basis.  We like to think that we can deal with most things very well.

We are getting a bit worried about Pippo though – he seems to be taking risks for fun, which is not the best idea really.

Pippo is hanging over the edge

This is a picture of Pippo hanging over the edge of the bed – he looks like he hasn’t got a care in the world.  Hopefully he won’t do too many silly things and get into any trouble.  The humans would be in a bit of bother if one of the busiest lads was out of action for a while.

Drone Attack!!

wpid-IMG_20130807_215039.jpg

Hello Momu Fans!

Disaster struck at the boy’s house the other day – there was a drone attack!!

Drone Attack

Froome was sent to try and deal with it – the drone was ever so buzzy and a little bit angry at being caught, so he was flying around like mad.  Froome did a good job and managed to get the drone to go away and no one was injured.  Froome did have to be fully checked over and have a good long lie down afterwards though to recover.

We are hoping that things aren’t going to be too bad with drone attacks this year – it does rather take it out of a small lad to deal with them. Paws Crossed.

Drone Defence

wpid-DSC1072.jpg

Hello Momu Fans!

We have had some intel from the lads that live with the boy mainly.  They have managed to get some helpers to help them against the drones that pop in to the house at night times and bomb the lads and the boy.

Drones

It seems a little bit weird to us – because these look suspciously like monsters to us – but apparently these helpers can eat certain drones.  Which is helpful.

Hopefully the drone problem (which seems to be a lot worse at the boy’s house than here at the girl’s – perhaps he is accidentally leaving out treats that the drones like to eat or something) will get a bit better now the lads have some more helpers.

Drone Attacks!

wpid-DSC1072.jpg

Hello Everyone!

I hope you are all OK – we are mooching today (any excuse to do this is good in my view) because it is raining a lot outside.  It is safest to be in bed and not do much when it is like that outside.  We recommend that you do the same really.

While you are safe in bed, you can read about the lads’ latest adventures.  How good is that?

Comfy?  Here we go – this is a story of derring-do and the lads are very proud of it.

The lads who live with the girl seem to have a little bit of an easier time when it comes to matters of defence.   We are not usually called on to do an awful lot (we like it for the most part, but sometimes we feel a little bit funny that the other lads are busier) and we can do what we like when we like.  This is obviously mooching.  A lot.

The lads at the boy’s house on the other hand are often called on to protect the boy and the other lads – you have heard about the Boar Defence League.  They also protect against enemy Drone attacks, and one happened the other night which was quite major.

The boy was just minding his own business reading and mooching around when two huge drones can and dive bombed the lads on the bed!  Luckily Bluey had some back up in the form of more fast attack lads at the time other wise he would have been in some trouble.  The Corporal (I’ll introduce you to him later on properly, he says he is too busy protecting the nation at the moment to do an interview) was on hand to help, and the managed to jump on the Drones and detain them.

In the tradition of old hunting stories, here are a couple of pictures of the victors and their catches;

We are all ever so proud and pleased that the lads managed this victory – long live the lads and their protective abilities (the boy was very pleased they were there to help him – the girl would have been even more pleased, she is a wimp when it comes to drones and the like).
