Barney

DSC_0151-01

Hello Momu Fans!

We got news of another older lad who was on the top secret lad mission in the attic recently.

barney

We have to admit that we were a bit concerned when the picture of Barney (that’s his name) came through on the girl’s phone.  But the lads are telling us that Barney is a hardy lad and that he is absolutely fine.  Phew!

Lad News

wpid-2015_0422_14070200-01.jpeg

Hello Momu Fans!

It’s been a little bit quiet here lately – the humans have been catching up a bit from a really busy February half term they had in the gallery (yippee!).

So it has been a snoozy and moochy kind of time for lads too.  Which is brilliant because snoozing and mooching are some of our favourite things to do.

We did rescue some lads from the boy’s attic (they had been up there on a top secret lad mission for a long time) because mice had moved in and fancied munching on a few lads which was a huge disaster.  Luckily all lads are now fine (three needed small operations to get back to full lad fitness) and are happily mooching alongside all the other lads again.

The humans have said that there really isn’t any more room for more lads now.  We’re ok with that for now.  We’ll work on the humans later in order to make them see that there always spaces available for more lads.

Surprise Day Out!

wpid-2015_0422_14070200-01.jpeg

Hello Momu Fans!

We had a very exciting day the other week with the humans, the boy had planned a surprise day out for the girl and some of us went with them.

The girl had no idea where they were going to – the boy told some of us, but we were ever so good and pretended not to know too and were surprised when we ended up at BANHAM ZOO! Yippeee!

There were lots of amazing animals to look at and learn about – and there was a lot of sunshine to enjoy too.

Here are some of the lads looking at a very cool and cheeky Marmot munching away on the grasses in his enclosure. We very much liked him.

And here is Peter trying to pretend to be a sloth. He is a little bit sloth like (all lads are – it is the best way to be really isn’t it? They sleep for about 15 to 20 hours a day if they live in a zoo, yippeeeee!) but he was a little bit too small for the head hole here!

It was a very very lovely day out, and we really enjoyed seeing all the animals. We would like to visit again very soon.

And a new lad came home with us – meet The Professor ( also known as The Prof, Hooty, Prof McHoot and Professor Hooty McHootHoot).

Freddy and the Sunshine Mystery

wpid-DSC1072.jpg

Hello Momu Readers,

Just a quick one today – we are investigating a mystery here.

Freddy says that the sun has been coming out every day for a long long time, and then for the last couple of days it seems to have gone missing.

Freddy is investigating this, from the comfort of the bed (obviously). He is hoping that the sun comes out of hiding again soon so he can sit in it. It is one of his favourite things to do.

Daffy!

wpid-DSC1072.jpg

Hello Momu Readers!

How are you doing?  We are all doing very well, but it is cold a lot of the time now because it is winter.  Bbbrrrrrr!  We like to be warm, so this means that most of our time is spent burrowing under the duvet!  Yippee!!

Another new lad (well he is kind of a lad, but slightly less cuddly) joined the boy’s crew the other day.  He has been lurking in the boy’s attic for a while, but decided to come down to say hello.

Daffy

Daffy!  Jacques and Maurice came to pose with him – hasn’t Maurice got a good pose going on in this photo?!

The lads are ever so pleased to have a new lad to chat to – especially coming so soon after the two elder lads arrived.  Exciting times!

Some old lads come to say hi!

wpid-DSC1072.jpg

Hi Momu Fans!

Guess what?  Some old old lads came to say hi to us the other day – they have been with the boy for lots and lots of years.  They are very much elder lads.  Their names are Sleepy and Stan – would you like to see them?

Here you go:

Sleepy Meeting the Lads

Here is Sleepy meeting Bill and Sebastapol.

Stan Meeting the Lads

And here is Stan with Gordon and Conrad.

Cool huh?  They say they are both very old and that is why they might seem a little bit scruffy and thin…

Have you got any lads who have been with you for a long time?

Momu Meets Corey Feltdog

Momu Small

Hello Momu readers!

I hope you are all fine and dandy today.

I am going to introduce you to a new lad today.  Exciting or what?

This is Corey Feltdog;

Corey1

He arrived a couple of months ago and has the same birthday as Whitey (except that Whitey is a lot of lad years older, shhhh!)

A few of us were watching a film with the humans on the girl’s birthday – it was called The Lost Boys (we are not sure why, as they seemed to be in the film the whole time and not lost at all).  There was one person in it whose real name is Corey Feltman, and we liked him and thought that the new lad should have the same name.  We had to change the name a little bit because our Corey is a dog and not a man, and we didn’t want things to be confusing, so we called him Corey Feltdog.

Corey Feltdog enjoys mooching (as all good lads should) and has made good friends with Bill, Snowy, Freddy and Bear especially.  They all sit and watch for the horses that go past the window sometimes, they say it is ever such good fun.

Cory2

Cory is almost never sad , and his cheery face can cheer up even the most grumpy human.  Yippee!

Toby

wpid-DSC1072.jpg

Hello Momu readers!

If you remember, Freddy has been enjoying some sunshine lately, but he is a little bit cross because he has not been in it as much as Toby.  We suddenly thought that you might not know who Toby is!

Toby is a lad who looks a lot like Freddy – we think they might be brothers or something, but they do look a little bit different if you know what to look for.  For example, Freddy has a lot more of a bedhead kind of look because he has been snoozing and mooching for longer than Toby.  Toby says that he is slowly catching up with Freddy on this score.

Toby came from the boy’s house – we think he might have been staying with the boy’s mum for a while.  We are not sure why he moved into the boy’s room, but we are ever so happy that he did, whatever the reason.

Toby and Freddy like to spend time together whenever the boy visits the girl – they like to dance to some TV programme’s music (their favourite is the new Casualty theme tune – they say it is jazzy and good for jumping around to).

Here is a little photograph of Freddy and Toby sitting together (quietly for a change, we quite like it when they are like this sometimes) – can you tell who is who? (No?!  We can’t either…)
