Construction Work

wpid-DSC1072.jpg

Hello Momu Fans!

We sent one of the bookmark lads (Bertie) home with the boy last time he left in the hope that they might be able to read a book on cycling together.  So far it seems as though this is not likely to happen because a box got opened with a remote control car in it ready to be built, and we think they all got a bit distracted.

We are not sure if any reading (apart from the instruction booklet) will get done this time around – perhaps Bertie won’t mind too much… Tee hee.

OOOH Sunshine!

wpid-2015_0422_14070200-01.jpeg

Hello Momu Readers!

How are you?  Us lads are fine – we are keeping our paws crossed for some more warm weather soon.  The other evening this happened at the boy’s house;

It;s so bright!  You can hardly see Ratty!  The lads say you will have to excuse the mess in the boy’s room – sometimes things get places they shouldn’t and the lads cant do anything about it.

Have you had some sunshine where you are?  Isn’t it nice when it happens?

TV trio and guest watch horror

Hello Momu Readers,

Just a quick message from me about the TV trio (Ratty, Stuart and Eli)  and their sometime guests (usually Bear or more often New Lad -! – Philip)  and what they like to watch on the TV now that the nights are getting longer. Longer nights means more TV and snuggling.

They basically like to watch horror films with the boy

If they don’t get to watch horror films – like the time Strictly Come Dancing accidentally got put on – this happens.

Ratty in particular is not impressed. Philip says he would have given it a go. (He was outvoted 3 to 1.)
What do you like to watch?

Spots Reserved for Sports

wpid-2015_0422_14070200-01.jpeg

Hello Momu Readers!

We are in the middle of some great sports on the TV here in the UK.  We are busy watching people ping yellow balls at each other at Wimbledon, kick bigger balls at each other in the football, and also watching crazy people on bikes climb up massive mountains for fun.

We are also looking forward to the return of the ‘lympics this year – it has been 4 years since the last time, can you believe it?

Ratty had a habit of making the humans write out notes (cheeky ones at that) to reserve the best places for viewing these things.

Seat Reservations

He doesn’t seem to have done that this year just yet – we wonder if he has forgotten, or if he just takes it for granted that he will get the top spots now…

Are you looking forward to the sporty things on TV?

Adventure Ahoy!

wpid-DSC1072.jpg

Hello everyone!

Sorry we have been quiet for a little while – we have been getting ready for an adventure which starts tomorrow!  It is all ever so exciting – some of the tiny lads and me are going for a trip to London with the humans.  We are hoping to see lots of exciting things and also some pretty Christmas lights too.

Ratty says that maybe we can go and see the things that he saw when he went down to the city;

We will have to see what happens.

Adventure report to follow when we get back next week!

Hope you all have a fun time until then.

Bravery or Otherwise…

Momu

Afternoon Momu chums!

Ratty and Stuart (AKA The Rodents) asked me to write a tiny post about their supposed bravery the other night while they were watching Aliens.  (Apparently there can be massive arguments among Humans as to whether Alien or Aliens is best, but us lads tend to stay out of it – it all seems a little bit silly.  There is no such question surrounding Aliens 3 and 4 – apparently they are just rubbish.)

Lads watching Aliens

You will see that Ratty and Stuart are really close to the edge of the bed.  They think this shows bravery, I think it is silly – you can never be too careful if there is the threat of a boar attack, even with a hanky for protection.

Silly Rodents!  Luckily everything was ok and they just enjoyed the film like they were hoping too.  Let’s hope they don’t get too cocky.
